NorthSailing opens a new chapter for the 2026 season, with the launch of our charter base in Platania, Pelion. This change replaces our long-time base in Volos and introduces a significant upgrade to your sailing experience. Platania is only 5.5 nautical miles from Skiathos (Koukounaries), so your holiday begins the moment you leave the harbour. The previous 38.2 mile crossing from Volos often required 5 to 6 hours and could consume an entire day of your week. From Platania, you keep that day for yourself.
